After being rerouted through the Uetliberg tunnel in 2009, the 42.195 km race will once again take place on its original route along Zürich’s lakefront. The beautifully varied route has almost no ascents, with less than 30 metres of climbing, making possible fast race times. Spectators and athletes can expect numerous festivities in the lakeside towns, as well as a large marquee and a children’s paradise in the Landiwiese meadow.
